The F-Type SVR is set to feature a tuned-up version of the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 fitted to the R. Power is set to rise to somewhere in the region of 567 horsepower – 25hp more than the R – with similar gains in torque output. With power sent to all four wheels, the SVR’s 0-62mph time is rumoured to be 3.7 seconds – 0.2 seconds
The standard F-Type and R-Dynamic models use the lower-powered V8, making 444 hp and 428 pound-feet of torque. With the standard electronic active differential to help optimize traction, the Jaguar says the F-Type leaps from zero to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds with either rear-drive or all-wheel drive. Maximum speed is limited to 177 mph.
