It is front and rear packing lights. The lights are within the same compartment as the head lamps (front) and break lights (rear). 2. It is just one side (passenger side) that comes on. The lights come on after parking. When it comes on is unpredictable. It stays on until car is unlocked and then locked with key fob. After this, it comes on again.

There is possibly a software update that delays booting up the forward alert system until the engine has started. Mines in for a diagnostic check next week so we shall see.
The feed for the main beam is at pin 5 of the headlight plug. If you have power (with plug connected to pin 5 then I would inspect the connections at the main beam bulb and check for a feed and earth across the main beam bulb connector. Kindest regards ***** *****. Brian.
Mike, It sounds like you have an intermittent connection in your fuse box not the switch. If you removed the fuse and the re-entered it and the lights started to work it must be related to the fuse. 1. The fuse socket has corrosion and needs cleaning or is too wide to receive the fuse blade. 2.
This is do from the inside, therefore it is not critical for waterproofing. After this process, the headlamp will continue to work. My problem is that I tried to repair the circuit board using other LEDs. This was not entirely successful, so now I'm trying to find a more correct LED or the whole board.
All lights seem to work .I have checked and rechecked the connector blocks all seem in good condition I have pulled the dtc's from the converse can anybody tell if any of the following are related to the front lights ,and if yes what the problem might be.thanks in advance. They tested the screen with some kind of meter and claim the screen is ok , so we tested the fuses for the screen which according to the manual are 61 and 66 @ 40amp. Fuses were ok . so we then gently laid the new screen on top and wired it up and it still wouldn't heat up. He used some kind of digital thermometer thing and it didn't
Parking sensors not working: When I got the car, the parking sensor button would flash twice and not function, this turned out to not need electrical equipment replacing as with the above issues but simply water ingress into the sensors which was fixed by spraying WD-40 into the sensors to displace the trapped water.
Hi My 09 tdci Mondeo MK4 has a strange temperature gauge issue. Sometimes it will appear ok (it never goes past halfway) but most other times not really. Usually it will warm up fairly slowly and only get up to halfway when at speed (60+), slowly dropping down to 1/4 or just below when encountering towns/traffic and driving at a lower speed, but occasionally it does spend most of the journey
could well be a relay. there are 2 relays for front wipers. R8 and R11 in engine fusebox. Relay 11 is always switched on whenever wipers work, on any speed. On speed 1 or intermittent, relay 11 outputs voltage through closed contacts of relay 8 and supplies low speed wiper wire. if second speed is selected, relay 8 is also switched on and
